Simple Installation
Installation Steps
- Remove the existing standard spigot from your Berkey lower chamber
- Insert the sight glass spigot washer and nut from inside the chamber
- Screw the sight glass spigot assembly into the lower chamber opening
- Hand-tighten the nut from inside until secure (do not overtighten)
- Fill your system and verify there are no leaks
Position the glass tube toward the front of your system for easy viewing. Clean the glass tube during your regular Berkey system maintenance.
