Simple Installation
Installation Steps
- Remove the existing plastic spigot from your Berkey lower chamber
- Place one silicone washer on the spigot threads
- Insert the spigot through the hole from outside the chamber
- Place the second silicone washer on the threads inside the chamber
- Thread the stainless steel nut onto the spigot from inside
- Hand-tighten securely until snug (do not overtighten)
- Test for leaks by filling and dispensing water
The Stainless Steel Spigot fits all stainless steel Berkey models (Travel, Big, Royal, Imperial, Crown). It will NOT fit the Berkey Light. This spigot cannot be used together with the Sight Glass Spigot—choose one or the other.
